Too often, the tools behind their websites were not built around those responsibilities. GovCMS brings government-specific content and publishing governance into a shared platform.
Our ambition is to help establish a more dependable foundation for government websites in Nigeria, with the possibility of serving institutions elsewhere in Africa over time.
We are developing towards that ambition. We do not present planned reach as existing adoption, and we do not claim government customers or institutional endorsements.

GovCMS is informed by the National Information Technology Development Agency’s Standards and Guidelines for Government Websites. The guidance provides an important foundation for clear, accessible, credible and well-managed public information online.
We translate those principles into a practical publishing platform for institutions: a public website starter, structured content, editorial governance and the operational foundation to keep public information useful as teams and responsibilities change.
