Three parts, one publishing path
- Web Manager: teams create and publish structured records.
- GovCMS API: public reads expose published content; protected routes serve platform operations.
- Your website: a GovCMS Webfront or custom frontend renders content for visitors.
Editors do not need to edit frontend code to publish an article.
Structured content
Current public types are page, news, publication, leadership and procurement. Metadata is JSON and may vary by type; check optional values before rendering.
Preview and production
Preview is for review; Production serves the public site. Hosting, production API endpoint and refresh behavior depend on the institution’s deployment.
